Your Doctrine, Theirs or HIS?
Wow! How long has it been? Thought I gave up on this blog huh? Nah, I didn’t; I just took a bit of a break and my goodness YAH has shown me so much this year. My last devotional was in February after being snowed in for several weeks and since then, I have experienced an amazing spring, an extremely dry, hot summer, and I’m so looking forward to the coming fall. I pray you enjoy the images above it’s a small collection depicting spring flowers in my yard, a by chance sighting of the Milky Way also from my yard (what a gift from YAH), another Milky Way shot from atop Roan Mountain on a trip with a group of fellow photographers, and the Aurora, caught yes, in my yard. All gifted experiences from TMHY and I could not be more fulfilled in Him alone!
The last devotional discussed being ready and at this time in the world it is critical that we examine our hearts and motives where The Most High is concerned so that we will remain in the protection of our Mashiach through the coming tribulation, and be counted worthy when He returns; because He IS coming back.
When I began writing this devotional back in 2022, I was in the process of reading through the scriptures from Genesis including the Apocrypha and I decided to begin writing about my experience learning about YHWH and how to serve Him in the way that pleases Him. By last April I realized that I needed to take a break and examine all that I have learned since 2021. It was clear to me that just like when I was in christianity, I needed to unlearn some of the doctrines of men I learned since I awakened. Satan indeed is a sneaky little thing and you know something, he is way more religious than the world thinks but guess what; 1. YHWH, did not create religion and to Him they are pagan practices 2. satan actually created religion. All of the religions in the world are man made and in the midst of their practices you will find your adversary the devil. I can go through a run down of the creation of religion, how it began being birth from Noah’s son Ham, but I would never do it justice. The YouTube channel Truthunedited does an extremely good job. He has a series called The History of Religion with 70 videos ranging from 15-30 minutes each, so it will take some time for anyone interested to get through the entire series but I promise; it is time well spent. The videos are easy to understand and can be watched with children. My niece came up with an amazing idea of watching a video with her children on Shabbat, and after she would quiz them on what they learned. His videos provide a well researched, thorough, and clearly presented compilation of the major religions in the world and their origins.
In the Truthunedited History of Religion series the only religion that is not included is the religion practiced by the Israelites. Why you ask? It’s because the practices of the Israelites in the scriptures is not a religion. It is a set of instructions and commands handed down to them through Moses, reinforced by the latter prophets and YESHUA Himself. Our Father and Creator didn’t create a religion, He created a way and a practice setting standards for His children. I don’t know anyone who when they were growing up called the chores, rules and standards set by their parents in their home a religion. It’s no different with our Father YHWH. We, who are in covenant with Him, agreeing to abide by His rules and standards called the Torah, are His children. Everything outside of this is religion created by men orchestrated by satan. When you dig deep into the details behind all the hoopin’ & hollering, door knocking pamphlet giving, hotepin’ give thanks, multiple wives camps, street preaching absent of love, virgin mary rosaries, allah blessings, women covering their hair, no laughing on Shabbat, praise dancing, naming and claiming it; you will find the devil in those details.
Revelation 12:9 states: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. When YHWH tells us something, many of us, me included, don’t truly understand, until we overstand. The deception this verse is talking about, already happened from the beginning and we are knee deep in the midst of that deception now; more so than the Israelites have ever been. People are still waiting for this deception to occur. These are they who are still lost in religious practices controlled by a religious spirit that teach happy path doctrines, law bondage, and scriptural truth mixed with what people think YHWH says; instead of what He actually says. This deception is possible when people clutch a Bible they don’t read, enter into agreements with a human spiritual covering placing video messages from men, over scriptural teachings and guidance from the RUACH HA’KODESH; I should know. Daniel 12:4 says: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Knowledge indeed has increased but it’s worthless without the leading and guiding of the RUACH HA’KODESH. YESHUA himself talks to His disciples in Matthew 23, and I will paraphrase as I implore you to read it for yourself. YESHUA discusses the Pharisees saying that they teach the law as they sit in the seat of Moses but they add to it making it burdensome for the people yet they don’t do it themselves. He said that they love to be greeted in the markets and esteemed as the people call them Rabbi (which means my teacher) and He warns the disciples saying do not do as they do. Matthew 23:8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Adonai, even Maschiach; and all ye are brethren. See, we have but one teacher Mashiach and it is important that we learn together through Him and The Set Apart Spirit/The RUACH HA’KODESH.
John 16:13 says: Howbeit when He, the Spirit Of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. This is a true statement, the living and breathing truth. Look, I haven’t gotten it all figured out but I am a servant and daughter of The Most High walking in covenant with Him keeping and guarding His laws and He does teach me and I have no doubt that He will continue to teach and guide me on the path that He has laid out for me. Jeremiah 29:11 says: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith YHWH, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. I rest in this promise that He has given all of us an expected end encompassing peace and safety as long as we obey His voice and trust in Him. John 10:27-28 says: 27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Isn’t this an incredibly beautiful promise full of certainty and expectancy? When you walk with The Most High no man can pluck you out of His hand, you can’t be taken you can only leave by your own will; but why would you do that? 🤷🏾♀️ If you are in covenant with YHWH but not sure if you are hearing His voice, fast and pray asking as a willing servant for increased discernment and for Him to speak to you and guide you. He speaks to us all the time through our conscience and in visions and dreams but the world has taught us to explain it away. Acts 24:16 instructs us toward having a clear conscience: 16: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward YHWH, and toward men. Also, we read in 1 Timothy 4:1-2: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2: Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Paul tells us that our conscience can be seared, so it is important to protect our eye gates and our ear gates from listening to biblical lies, false or polluted doctrine or worldly themes and subject matter which will minimize the voice of YHWH within our conscience.
So you see, my intentions and my heart rest in walking in His ways, in a way that pleases Him and the only thing that makes this difficult is when people have their own interpretation of how this should be done when it is He who is the Great Interpreter. YHWH will police, guide, and chastise us when we go to the right or the left of His plan for our lives. So if you are not in covenant with YHWH I compel you to repent and then seek Him out; giving your life to Him following His laws and commands. It’s important to do this first because Proverbs 28:9 says: 9: He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. You want to be heard by The Most High YAH and allow Him to teach and guide you on the path that He has laid out for you.
